How to get in touch with us:
Purcell Mountain Farm is a family-operated
farm located on one of the high benches above the Kootenai River Valley at the
foothills of the Purcell Mountain Range. It is nestled in the Northeastern-most
part of Idaho.
The soil is Rubson Series. These soils are typically more than 60 inches deep with a surface layer of silt loam acquired from years of river deposits. Our climate is moderate interior, with annual rainfall of 20 to 28 inches. The soil is well-drained. Our vegetables are grown in fertile soil, supported by indigenous soil microbes and enzymes, natural fertilizers, all the 57 trace minerals in balance, cover crops and crop rotation. We also analyze our soil so we can balance the mineral, organic and microbial content to Nature's specifications. The description of varieties and their characteristics are as accurate as our experience in growing them have shown us. Each order, small or large, will get our personal attention.
or if you happened to be in the neighborhood feel free to stop by at our farm.
There are some beautiful places to visit up here in the Pacific Northwest. Boating, Fishing, Hunting, Hiking, Skiing, Camping and more.
