This is a sister rice to the Indian red rice. It is the same kernel, but polished. It has a unique pink color. The flavor is nutty but delicate. This rice is an excellent side for seafood. It also pairs well with Thai flavored broths. Try making a spicy Thai broth and using it to cook the rice. The end product is an aromatic rice. The rice takes about 30 minnutes to cook fully.
